The Gretta Foundation has been invited to attend the International Council of Nurses’ (ICN) 24th Annual ICN Quadrennial Congress. The ICN is a federation of 132 national nurses’ associations and is the world’s widest reaching international organization for health professionals.

Dr. Gretta Styles was president of the ICN, and she spearheaded the ICN’s definitive work on nursing regulation. This trip will not only be an important networking opportunity for TGF, but it is significant as Gretta attended the last congress in Taipei to receive nursing’s highest international award, the Christiane Reimann Prize.

This year, the conference will be held in Durban, South Africa, with the theme Leading Change: Building Healthier Nations. TGF president and founder Meg Styles, Gretta’s daughter, will be attending the conference as TGF’s representative on June 27 – July 4.

Look for photos and updates when we return!

With our warmest regards,

The Gretta Foundation
